- Served as a Scientist in DDRO, Delhi.
- 2005 – Moved to MUSC as postdoctoral fellow.
- More than 10 years experience in creating all models of Cardiac disease in various species including mice, rats & felines.
- He has excellent experience in creating these models and evaluating them by echocardiogram.
- Primary person running animal core facility for MUSC Cardiology Research Labs.
- Highly talented in isolating primary cardomyocytes – cultured for various experiments including contractile function of cardiomyocytes.
- He has successfully developed a method to isolate adult primary cardiomyocytes and fibroblasts for adult mouse heart for use in vitro assays.
- Dr. Harinath is highly motivated to undertake Research work in India and has moved to Chennai, India in 2016.
