Introduction to the Symposium

This ‘International Symposium’ is intended to bridge the bench-to-bedside gap and to ensure and encourage that public investments in health science are turned into improved public health It is an initiative to address the concern that most of the health research in India is not translated into practice and vice-versa. The conference will provide a unique platform for the participants to evolve with their innovative ideas and cogitation as they listen to thought-provoking International speaker sessions and following discussions.  The young minds are also enthused to enter into translational research.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

Authors are requested to prepare their abstract for Oral/Poster presentations and send a soft copy through email ifts@c3rf.com. The abstracts should be prepared to adhere to the following guidelines.

  • -> Every paper must be accompanied by the title of the paper, the name(s) of the author(s), and their affiliations.
  • -> The Research Papers should be in a Word Document format, Times New Roman, 12- point font size with 1.5 line spacing, a 1-inch margin at all sides
  • -> The abstract should be limited to 200 words and must include the following: Title, Objectives, Methodology, Findings, Conclusion, and Translational Implications.

About Presidency College

Situated in the heart of Chennai city, Presidency College overlooks the expansive ever sparkling waters of the Bay of Bengal. Disseminating education of excellence, Presidency College took an academic shape in the hands of the renowned Professor of Mathematics, Eyre Burton Powell, in 1840. About Madras University

The Public Petition dated 11-11-1839 initiated the establishment of Madras University. It was in January 1840 with Mr. George Norton as its President, that the University Board was constituted. In 1854, the Government of India formulated a systematic educational policy for India and as a sequel to this on 5th September 1857 by an Act of the Legislative Council of India, the University was established. The University was organized in the model of London University.  Many Nobel laureates, Policymakers, and Economists have been alumni of this University. Madras University is the mother of almost all the old Universities of south India. The University area of jurisdiction has been confined to three districts of Tamil Nadu in recent years.

  A number of institutions affiliated with Madras University concentrate on research activities offering Ph.D., Programs in their respective field of specialization.
